Welcome to Pwll Du Adventure Centre
Located within the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Pwll Du Adventure Centre is situated amidst spectacular scenery on the Blorenge Gilwern upland. The valley falls away steeply at the rear of the centre giving magnificent views of the surrounding area.
Set within the Blaenavon World Heritage Site, which is steeped in local coal and iron mining history, you can walk directly onto the Hill's Tramroad, connecting the iron works of Blaenavon to the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal
Upto 24 people, in seven bedrooms, can be accommodated easily at the recently modernised Adventure Centre.
What Can You Do?
A full range of walks are at your doorstep with the area providing mountain bikers a range of routes over the open common. Nearby are rock faces for climbing and abseiling; "Ogof Draenen", the second largest cave system in the Britain; and the Blorenge mountain for hang and paragliding.
These days with attractions like the Big Pit mining museum, Blaenavon Ironworks, Rhymney Brewery, and Blaenavon World Heritage Site interpretation centre the area is providing additional local points of interest for the visitor.
